Answering your biggest questions of 2022

I personally have been so looking forward to writing this post as it truly is all about our BASE community. So tonight, I’m answering your most asked questions of 2022.

As the year draws to a close, I thought it’d be super helpful to reflect on the queries that appear most often in my inbox, as if one person is thinking about it, I can guarantee almost 100 others are too! So, without further ado, let’s dive right in 🥰

Is it too late to treat my deep lines and wrinkles?

I promise you, it's never too late! The best way to treat deep set lines is to needle them with your Pure Roller twice a week and follow the Proactive Age Kit routine, daily. If I use my Pure Roller more often, will I get better results?

I love this question because if I weren’t the expert, it’d be asking the exact same thing!

The answer, however, is no. Initially, the Pure Roller works to significantly increase product absorption by up to 66%, but in the days after treatment, the healing process is triggered in your skin which stimulates collagen production. This is what gives you firmer, toned and more lifted skin post-treatment.

If you needled your skin daily though, your skin would never reach this recovery mode and you wouldn’t receive the wonderful benefits above. So with this one, less is most definitely more and using your Roller just twice a week is absolutely perfect.

I’m Vitamin C sensitive, will the Super Serum irritate my skin?

Absolutely not! Vitamin C can be notoriously difficult to work into your skincare routine if you have any form of sensitivity, which is why we intentionally use a gentle yet highly effective form of this incredible antioxidant, in our Super Serum. It delivers all the powerful youth-boosting, pigmentation-evening, and sun damage-preventing benefits, whilst being suitable for even the most delicate skin.

How many face cloths do you recommend and how do I wash them?

So in an ideal world, 8 face cloths would be absolutely perfect. This way you have one for every day of the week and one for laundry day too.

And speaking of laundry, to wash your cloths, simply pop them on a 30-degree wash using a gentle detergent. I personally air dry mine afterwards as the microfibres dry so quickly, but they are also tumble-dryer friendly if you’re popping a load on.

Have you changed the Exfoliating Cell Renewal Serum formula?

Many of you loyal BASE Faces notice that the Exfoliating Cell Renewal Serum changes colour. It begins as a pale golden colour and gradually deepens over time. This happens when one of the natural ingredients in the product reacts to external temperature changes.

Although it looks different from the outside, the formula remains as results-driven and potent as ever. Rest assured, we have no plans to change the product in any way and if we ever did, you’d be the first to know about it 😊

Is BASE Protection – SPF 50 safe for spot-prone skin?

It 100% is. I personally could never find an SPF that didn’t break me out…So I decided to create my own instead. The formula is purposely thin, lightweight, and non-greasy so that it won’t clog your pores at all. It’s also formulated with Titanium Dioxide which is the best sunscreen ingredient for soothing sensitive skin and easing redness too.
