BASE celebrates turning 3!

This week is a special one at BASE as we’re celebrating our 3rd birthday and I can’t quite believe it 🎉

I’ve sat and thought about all the things I could write, but really, all I want to say is the biggest thank you. I know the word ‘community’ gets overused, but I truly feel like together we have created a beautiful corner of the internet…And I couldn’t love it more if I tried.

Something I talk very little about though, is being a business owner. This is because I’ll forever see myself as an Aesthetician first, as skin is the only real thing I’m an expert in!

Running a company that you truly care about takes all your time, dedication and energy. It means that occasionally you have to say no to special occasions in your personal life, work the weekends or even pause your own wedding plans so you can focus solely on the task at hand. But can I let you into a little secret? Despite the fact this week also marks our 6 year engagement anniversary, it’s all 100% worth it.

In the past 3 years I’ve never once had Sunday night blues, dreaded coming back to the office after a weekend away or Googled ‘How to find a job you love’…Because I’ve genuinely won the career lottery.

I open my inbox every morning to messages of pure joy and kindness and making your skincare dreams come true will never get old. You are truly what motivates me, inspires me and encourages me to make BASE brilliant, day in and day out.

It’s meant that this year we renamed all your favourite products, upgraded our store and of course relaunched the beloved TLC Roller. And I was genuinely left speechless by incredible response to it all.

So to celebrate, this month we’re putting a little birthday gift in all your orders. We wouldn’t be here without you and I just want you to know how grateful we are whether you’re placing your first order, or your hundredth. Also, keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway over on Instagram this Wednesday (04.10.23)…We may or may not be giving away three 5 Minute Kits 😉

We ended this week with a big planning meeting for the year ahead and I know if you’d been sat at the table with me, you’d have been bursting with excitement too. We have incredible product launches (yes, plural 😍) coming your way, big ideas for growing and connecting with this beautiful community and of course, I’ll keep sharing more skin tips than you can shake a stick at!
